Arriving by Air

 

From Munich Airport (Flughafen München)

You can travel direct from Munich Airport to Kitzbühel by rail.
The list below shows the most common way of reaching us but they may be other connections.

German Railways
(Deutsche Bahn) have a ticket office
at the airport.

You might also want to spend a night in Munich at the start or end of your trip. If so then
book your hostel here.

If you prefer not to come by train, you may wish to book an airport transfer with Four Seasons
who provide a shared ride service from the airport direct to our door.

  • Take München S-Bahn line 1 München Hauptbahnhof (Munich Central) or S-Bahn Line 8 to Ostbahnhof (Munich East)
  • From München Hauptbahnhof / Ostbahnhof there are IC (InterCity) and EC (EuroCity)
    services to Wörgl roughly evry two hours.
  • If you get an hourly local (Meridan) train from Munich you may have to additionally change at Kufstein. If you choose the local train option, then you can use a Bayern Ticket to travel cheaply to the Austrian / German border at Kufstein.
  • From Wörgl take a local service to Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm.
  • Snowbunnys is a short walk from Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm.

 

From Salzburg Airport (Flughafen Salzburg W. A. Mozart)

You can travel from Salzburg Airport to Kitzbühel by bus and rail.

The list below shows the fastest time using IC/EC services there are also direct local and
SPR (Salzach Sprinter) services which take longer.

  • Take Salzburg City Bus Line 77 to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (Salzburg Central)
  • From Salzburg Hauptbahnhof there are regular OEC (ÖBB EuroCity) services to Wörgl.
  • From Wörgl take a local service to Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm.
  • Snowbunnys is a short walk from Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm.

Arriving by Rail

Kitzbühel has two railway stations, Kitzbühel and Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm.

We are closest to Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm which is a 200m walk from the hostel, it is served by all local (S-Bahn Tirol line S6) and most RegionalExpress trains.. If you arrive on one of the trains that only stops at Kitzbühel.
Main Train station (some InterCity and RegionalExpress Trains do this) it is about a 20 minute walk. (Or in winter you can take the ring bus.)

Kitzbühel is well connected by road to the rest of Austria and surrounding countries.
